Marissa Lawrence Marissa Lawrence played for the Jazz in the Ponytail Division of the 2003 Volleyball Season (9/15/2003 - 12/13/2003) for girls aged 9 - 10 on 9/1/2003 (born 9/2/1992 - 9/1/1994). Marissa is a natural athlete. She has played basketball for five years, three years of which she played in the Romeoville Recreation League (Go Suns!). Because of their height and defensive abilities, she and her twin sister, Kayla, earned the nickname “Twin Towers”. This is Marissa’s first year playing volleyball and she loves it. She has a superb serve, so look out for her next year in the Majors. Come spring, Marissa will be on the softball diamond, playing for the Panthers again.
