Astros over the Twins in the 2004 Ponytail Championship......
Congratulations Astros.......................................
The Astros took an early lead in the game and at
one point led 8-2, but the Twins never gave up and
fought back to 8-3, then in the top of the 7th inning
earned 5 more runs to tie the game 8-8. The Astros batted
in the bottom of the 7th, but the Twins defense held
and the game went into extra innings with the Astros
winning the game 9-8 in the bottom of the 8th inning
on a close play at the plate.
Great game girls.
The 2004 slow-pitch softball season has ended.
