Slow-Pitch Softball Season (5/1/2004 - 6/30/2004)
for girls aged 14 - 17 on 9/1/2004 (born 9/2/1986 - 9/1/1990). Their team color is Red.
METS WIN!!!!
The Marlins took an early and commanding lead against the
Mets leading throughout the entire game, but the Mets never
gave up and never quit and began to chip away against a solid
Marlins defense. In the bottom of the 7th inning the Mets were
down 14-11, but kept their hopes up with great hits and base
running to tie the game. With 2 outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd
the Marlins intentionally walked the next batter to load the bases for
a force play at any base but the strategy did not work as the Mets
made a hit that was able to drive home the winning run. GREAT GAME
girls and congratulations to the METS-2004 Senior Division CHAMPIONS!!!
